Last weekend was the Belgian price giving for the season 2011. Fanatic rider Patrick Van Hoof became Belgian Champion Racing Formula & Slalom!
Patrick Van Hoof (B-52):
"I can’t deny that I’m happy with this tittle, especially when you know that the first guy behind me is 22 years younger than me. What an old man still can do! We were not with that many riders, that's why the results were always really close to each other. This made it very difficult and always kept the tension about who was winning. In the beginning of the year I already became Belgian Champion in Speedsailing and for the 16th time fastest Belgian rider. Our daughter, Nicky, became second on the European Championship in her first year of competing in Speedsailing. My wife, Tania, finished first in the Weymouth Speed Week (ladies/amateurs). For her it was her first speed competition ever. I’m really very happy that I can offer these titles in the first year I sail with Fanatic. The comfort and speed of the boards really helped to get these titles.
At that time I already had the opportunity to use the 2012 boards and they did a great job. The boards are even faster and give more control,
I'm looking forward to the 2012 season."
Well done Patrick!
